This is my first recommendation when a woman describes feeling wired, emotionally reactive or unable to switch off. The saffron extract at the heart of this formula has been studied in clinical trials specifically for its effects on cortisol and emotional balance, not a generic calming blend.

What Chill supports:

  • A calm, settled nervous system
  • Winding down in the evening
  • Emotional balance and steady mood
  • Relaxation and mental calm
  • Restful sleep from a quieter mind
  • Sustained afternoon energy

How To Use

1 capsule mid-afternoon and 1 capsule one hour before bed, away from food.

Dose: 1-2 capsules daily. Suitable from age 8. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Ingredients

Safr'Inside (Patented Organic Saffron Extract) has been studied in human clinical trials for its effects on stress hormone levels, emotional balance and positive mood. It works gently without causing drowsiness or stimulation.

L-Theanine promotes calm without sedation. It supports a relaxed, focused state and works particularly well alongside saffron for women who feel mentally overactive or on edge.

Vitamin B6 supports normal psychological function and nervous system health.

Magnesium reduces tiredness and fatigue and supports normal muscle and nervous system function.

How does saffron support emotional wellbeing during perimenopause?

Research on saffron extract shows promising results for emotional balance, mood and cortisol. In clinical trials, Safr'Inside, the patented saffron extract used in my Chill, has been shown to support positive mood and calm. It is particularly relevant during perimenopause as cortisol and progesterone both affect mood regulation.

Can I take this with SSRIs?

Yes. My Chill does not contain 5-HTP or St John's Wort, which are the ingredients that can interact with SSRIs. It is safe to take alongside SSRI medication. If in doubt, check with your prescribing doctor.

What is the difference between Chill and Ashwagandha?

Chill is my first recommendation for emotional reactivity and an overactive mind. If you are still feeling wired in the evenings after taking Chill, Ashwagandha is the next step, one capsule mid-afternoon and one with dinner. They work together on different parts of the stress picture. My Ashwagandha addresses the deeper adaptogenic and hormonal side while Chill addresses the acute cortisol and emotional reactivity side. Both are safe to take alongside SSRIs. If you are on antidepressants, avoid my Mood and Sleep, which contains 5-HTP.
