My Magnesium Complex combines three forms because different tissues require different types. Taurine, Glutamine and Zinc work alongside the magnesium to support absorption and add their own benefits for gut lining health, immune function and nervous system support.
What Magnesium Complex supports:
- Restful sleep
- Muscle function and recovery
- Relaxation and calm
- Sustained energy
- Bone health
- Hormonal balance
- Normal nervous system function

Ingredients
Magnesium Bisglycinate (50mg) Most magnesium supplements contain magnesium glycinate, bound to one glycine molecule. My Magnesium Complex uses bisglycinate, bound to two. That double binding makes it more stable in the digestive system and meaningfully better absorbed, so more of it actually reaches your tissues. Bisglycinate supports healthy nervous system function, which is what reduces the overactive mind that can prevent sleep onset. It is also the gentlest form on the digestive system.
Magnesium Citrate (50mg) Highly bioavailable and widely studied. Citrate works primarily on physical tension in the body, supporting muscle relaxation and healthy digestive regularity. It is particularly useful for muscle comfort and healthy digestive regularity where magnesium supports healthy blood vessels and smooth muscle function.
Magnesium Malate (50mg) Bound to malic acid, a key component of the Krebs cycle, which is the process your cells use to generate energy. Malate fuels cellular energy production directly, making it particularly effective for energy and muscle recovery.
L-Taurine (500mg) Works to preserve magnesium within the body and supports healthy bile production, important for healthy fat digestion. Also supports healthy nervous system function. Taurine is one of the most abundant amino acids found in heart muscle tissue, underlining its significance in cardiovascular health.
L-Glutamine (500mg) The primary fuel for gut lining cells, supporting gut wall integrity alongside its nervous system and recovery benefits. Also supports resilience during periods of physical and mental demand.
Zinc Citrate (10mg) Zinc and magnesium are synergistic minerals. Together they support stress resilience, muscle function, immune health and sleep quality.
Inulin (chicory root) A prebiotic fibre that feeds beneficial gut bacteria, complementing the gut-supportive role of L-Glutamine in this formula.
Magnesium levels naturally decline alongside oestrogen during perimenopause and menopause, making adequate intake especially important during this time. Magnesium contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, which becomes especially important during and after menopause.
How does magnesium support sleep and relaxation?
How does magnesium support sleep and relaxation?
Different forms of magnesium target different tissues and work through different pathways. Bisglycinate is the most bioavailable form and supports healthy nervous system function, making it particularly effective for sleep onset and a quieter mind at night. Citrate relaxes physical tension in the body and supports healthy digestive regularity. Malate fuels cellular energy production as a key component of the Krebs cycle. Because each form absorbs efficiently and reaches different tissues, the combination means sufficient magnesium gets to the uterine muscle during your cycle, the blood vessels involved in hormonal headaches, and the nervous system driving the irritability and physical tension of the hormonal changes of the cycle. Single-form magnesium, even well-absorbed glycinate, does not deliver across all three pathways. My Magnesium Complex does.
Why is magnesium important during perimenopause?
Why is magnesium important during perimenopause?
Magnesium is involved in over 300 biochemical processes in the body and maintaining optimal levels becomes more challenging under chronic stress. During perimenopause, declining oestrogen affects how efficiently the body retains magnesium. Supporting healthy magnesium levels can help maintain restful sleep, muscle comfort and sustained energy, all of which are commonly affected at this stage.

Game changing for muscle recovery and restorative sleep.
Since using this magnesium supplement, I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my recovery after exercise, particularly with muscle soreness and overall energy levels.
I also really like that it comes in powder form, which makes it easy to adjust the dosage depending on what I need, and it mixes really easily into my morning glass of water. Because it’s so easy to use, I never forget to take it.
I've been taking magnesium for a few years but wasn't really sure it was doing anything for me. I did a bit more research and started taking Pippa's magnesium about two months ago - I was keen to see if taking her three form complex would make a difference. I can honestly say I've noticed a huge improvement and I now take it every morning and every evening as part of my daily routine. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality, absorbable magnesium supplement.
Brilliant purchase! I will re-ordering again and again. I add it to my water in the morning along with my electrolytes and its the best combo!
Having tried many magnesium supplements this is the only one I have found to considerably reduce my headaches. Will continue to order.
